Former Owner and Founder of C&C Moves
Cape Ann Moves was founded by Carmon and Charlie Curcuru, built on a simple idea: showing up for people in times of need. Charlie suffered a traumatic injury last November, and we were blown away by everyone who showed up for us! Cape Ann Moves is now here to show up for you.
Charlie has spent his career in the moving industry, building a reputation for care, precision, and doing right by every customer — from the first phone call to the final box.
In 2011, he founded C&C Moves in Beverly, MA, and grew it into a trusted name. This past year, his serious health challenge ended his day-to-day role there sooner than he ever expected. But it didn't end his commitment to this community or this industry — it sharpened it.
Together, Carmon and Charlie founded Cape Ann Moves as a fresh start, built entirely around the standards Charlie spent years earning. Carmon owns and operates the business day-to-day, while Charlie remains deeply involved — setting the tone for how every move is handled and drawing on years of hands-on experience and relationships built across the North Shore.
For those who don't know, Charlie is a graduate of St. John's Preparatory School and Brown University. Cape Ann Moves reflects the same standards of excellence instilled in him by both.

Cape Ann Moves is a new company with a new look, but with the same solid crew and expertise as before. Having built and managed C&C Moves in Beverly, MA, for the past 15 years, we know how to get the job done and are familiar with the local area and surrounding communities. Charlie Curcuru's departure from C&C Moves came during his recovery from a traumatic Injury — a time when he needed support from the people around him most. Cape Ann Moves exists because Charlie and his wife Carmon believe that's exactly when people deserve to be shown up for, not shut out.
